Don Draper, you have indeed saved us once again from crap TV. And for that I thank you. With only a week to go in Mad Men's fifth season, I just thought that was worth saying.

I’m publisher / creative director / fearless leader at Consonant Custom Media, a content marketing and custom publishing enterprise based in Sarasota, Florida. I’m also president and creative director of Stephen A. Smith & Associates, a full-service advertising and marketing consultancy. For the past 30 years, it has been my great privilege to collaborate with talented creative professionals, inspiring nonprofits, and major brands like AT&T, Subaru, Uniroyal and the Adventist Health System. I’ve received numerous “ADDY” awards in recognition of creative excellence, as well as the American Advertising Federation’s “Ad Man of the Year” award. I’m a past president of AdFed Suncoast, a guest lecturer at the renowned Ringling College of Art and Design, and Advisor to the digital design program at Manatee Technical College. While serving as AAF-Fourth District Public Service Chair, I led the team that developed and launched the statewide Alzheimer’s disease awareness campaign called We CAN Florida.
