After the New Year it's always fun to look back at all the marketing madness that has taken place in the previous quarter. 2014 was an interesting year in marketing and advertising, to say the least. From 'Black Friday' all the way through to the 'after-Christmas' sales, we had plenty to talk about.
The "selfie" really made it to the big time last year. If you need any further proof of that, this Ad Age story will convince you and add a sad post-New Year commentary on the state of our society. It seems we just can't stop taking pictures of ourselves! As the story describes, however, in a weird twist, this gadget is providing a small way for camera retailers to embrace the rise of the smart phone.
